Debris Handling
My company is small-scale, and I prune and remove by felling, climbing, and pole sawing. For large trees and projects, it may make more sense to hire someone with aerial equipment and material handlers unless you plan to keep debris on site. My site visit is free, so please contact me and I’ll take a look at it. If it’s outside my scope, I can refer you to quality companies with the right equipment.
My cutting services are primarily for people who want to save money by processing their own debris, using it for firewood, or having the debris chipped on site to use as mulch or to compost. If you have a small yard or don’t like the look of a wood pile, we can work with other local companies to pick up the debris, or rent a dumpster for the day (a good option for tree felling). For small tree work or shrub pruning and shaping, I can take debris away in my little trailer if you don’t want it left onsite.

Why keep debris on site?
Trees use physical nutrients from the soil to grow. Keeping that material on site retains those nutrients in your yard to keep your soil and trees healthy. Whether you burn it, mulch it, or compost it, you can use the ash, woodchips, and compost to keep those nutrients in your soil.
Power lines:
I cannot work on a tree that is within 10 feet of a primary power line. If your tree is within this range, we have to contact the power company to clear the tree from the lines before I begin work.
